About the project

The client asked us to create a logo that would integrate Laura Hâncu’s signature with her most famous collection, Silk Essentials.

Subsequently, the client came to us with a desire to integrate the brand signatures into a unique, customized online store design that promotes both classic and one-of-a-kind, seasonal, new-in pieces.

At the same time, the client wanted to develop a fully-featured online store with advanced product filtering capabilities to create an enhanced user experience and an online shopping process that is as easy and fast as possible.

The challenge

In the fast-paced landscape of the fashion industry, the challenge was our attempt to offer, through design, a unique image that would distinguish the brand, a local one, while the competitors are international brands known for their specialization in silk, wool and cashmere.

Deliverables

Branding

We created 2 brands from the same family:

  • signature logo
  • collection logo

 

These were declined together with the appropriate graphic style. We used the texture of the materials, the representative colors to create a color scheme, a font family, to draw a style that would approximate the custom tailored clothing style, tailored specifically for the client.

Webshop

We proposed a flexible solution, allowing both the creation of a complex product catalog, with multiple categories and sub-categories and individualized products according to the filtering criteria requested by the customer, as well as scalability and ease of administration, with the customer taking over and managing the store after implementation.

A lot of work has gone into each of the versions, with the desktop version having its own particularities and the mobile version being adapted to the user’s usual style of browsing and interacting with established online stores.

SEO optimizations have been made at site and page level, a catalog integrated with Google Merchant Center has been created, tools for monitoring traffic, site performance and orders have been installed and configured.

Our collaboration continues with updates on new product information and other monthly maintenance work.
